FAQ
Who gets the creator rewards, what the team costs, how the airdrop works, what can go wrong.
Who holds what?#
You hold your ETH and your coins. The curve holds the ETH traders put in and the unsold supply, as Pons designed it. The coin's vault holds creator fees between rounds. HIREHOOD's operator key can move vault ETH only through pay, buy, burn and sweep; it cannot touch the curve, your wallet, or anyone's coins.
What if the operator disappears?#
Fee rounds stop; fees keep accruing in each coin's vault and on the curve. Collecting is permissionless — anyone can call collect — so nothing is lost, but splitting needs the operator. The operator address can be rotated by the current operator.
Can I pair with something other than ETH?#
Not yet. Pons pairs with an ERC-20 only once its owner approves that token. Pairing with HIREHOOD is planned for when that happens.
What happens at graduation?#
At 4.2 ETH raised, Pons moves the curve's ETH and the remaining coins into a Uniswap v4 pool. Trading continues there. The coin's creator-fee recipient keeps receiving fees through Pons's hook; rounds carry on.
Refunds?#
No. Every action is a transaction you sign. Coins can go to zero.
